Partnership between NanoH2O and Veolia Environnement
Veolia Water Solutions & Technologies, a subsidiary of Veolia Water, and world leader in water treatment, has signed a five-year partnership with NanoH20, a global provider of membranes that leverage biotechnology to improve desalination.
The two companies will jointly explore key geographic areas for new and existing seawater desalination plants, initiating pilot installations in the Middle East, the Mediterranean, Australia and other regions.
The project will combine Veolia Water Solutions & Technologies' expertise in municipal and industrial water treatment with NanoH2O's novel nanocomposite reverse osmosis membranes.
Solutions will cover both small plants (1,000-2,000 cubic meters per day) and large facilities (over 100,000 cubic meters per day).
